I started shooting Kodak Gold 200 in 2021 as it can be quite cheap and easy to find, even at a random drugstore. As a consumer film, it has less latitude than a professional film such as the Portra family, but it is still great to shoot daily life. It is easier to shoot than Kodak Ektar 100 and can produce excellent results in difficult lighting conditions.
I shoot this film at 100 ISO, and I make sure to take into consideration the shadows are those can get muddy quickly.
