I started using Kodak Portra 800 in 2021. It is an expensive film but fortunately, it is easy to find. I wanted to try it out after hearing many good things about it, especially from Montana-based photographer Forrest Mankins.
Colours are very vibrant with warm tones. Even in the evergreens of the Pacific Northwest, trees have yellow warm tones to them.
I shoot that film at ISO 200 and trust the meter on my camera. I've never tried to push this film, but it's on my to-do list.
